Slane Description
Inspired by the amphitheatre on Slane Castle's grounds, this whiskey celebrates the legendary music heritage that surrounds the distillery. Since 1981, global icons such as Madonna, David Bowie, and Bruce Springsteen have taken to the castle's stage to perform. To mark 40 years of concerts at the castle, Slane have released this special edition Irish whiskey.
The nose is malty with notes of fig and white pepper. The palate is very sweet and smooth before leading into the warm medium finish in which baking spices linger.
