Bloodroot Description
Tasting Notes: Out of the glass aromas of dark cherry, plum, licorice, leather and espresso all swirl together. The palate is elegant and silky and echoes those aromas nicely with a nice core of blackcurrant, plum and spice.
Bloodroot Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the northern section of the Napa Valley between St. Helena and Calistoga. It is sourced from both foothills of the Mayacamas mountains and the valley floor itself. Stylistically, it comes from a lineage of classic California Cabernets of the 1970s and 80s that show off the sleek beauty that Cabernet can have.
