A spicy rye kick is matched with succulent aromas of blossom honey, golden raisin, and burnt orange peel. Rye peeks through the honey, with an earthiness to balance the inherent sweetness. Toasted, nutty, and long.
Wine Enthusiast: 88 Points
Reminiscent of tea with honey, this bottling is a collaboration between a whiskey producer and a honey purveyor, both from upstate New York. The three year-old rye is infused with a “slight amount” of raw local honey, creating a light-bodied, drying whiskey, with notes of cedar and black tea, and slightly a sweet honey accent on the finish
