Clase Azul Description
Welcome to the world of Clase Azul Tequila. We are honored to share the magic of tequila with you through the eyes of our passionate craftspeople, who share their heart and soul in each bottle of Clase Azul.
Clase Azul is 100% authentic from the tequila to the unique, handmade bottles. In a small town named Santa Maria Canchesdá, over one hundred Mexican artisans spend their days handcrafting each bottle, one at a time.
Clase Azul tequilas are 100% from organic Tequilana Weber Blue agaves. Of about 200 breeds of agave, this one is the only one that produces tequila; and once it was harvest, Clase Azul elects to cooked them in old-fashioned brick ovens, which takes 72 hours.
The cooked piñas are then crushed for its juices, to which their special brand of yeast is added, and the liquid is allowed to ferment. The alcohol is distilled twice with careful attention ensuring the highest quality spirit.
This ultra-premium line of tequilas is produced in the town of Jesús María. This is one of the highest points in Los Altos, or highlands, region of the state of Jalisco, which lends very unique flavor profiles to the tequila.
Clase Azul Anejo “Edicion Indigena Mazahua” (or Mazahua-Edition) is the fruit of two worlds that meet. It symbolizes the union of authentic Mexican indigenous roots (represented by the unfired clay) with European glazing techniques that when combined, result in a combination of history, art, and the highest quality tequila all making Clase Azul Anejo a truly exemplary expression.
