This L’Encantada XO bottling is a cooperative project between PM Spirits and groundbreaking Armagnac caskhunters L'Encantada. Based in Vic-Fezensac, Southern France, L'Encantada curates Armagnac selections based on, as they say, “authenticity, tradition and know-how.” Their operation started small, after one of the partners, a caterer, was approached by a widow about selling her late husbands casks of Armagnac. L."Encantada producers distill directly in the heart of their fields, with a mobile Alambic Armagnacais stll, before L'Encantada matures the juice in oak, resting in Gascony. Their cellar master’s selections are "barrel raw", neither their color, nor their alcohol content, are modified. Often, L’Encantada releases feature distillers who are no longer in active production, their juice from ofthe last they will ever release. L'Encantada is the darling of Bourbon Whiskey Clubs, offering power, richness, and excitement for Whiskey drinkers looking to explore.
