Shizuoka Description
The long-awaited release of Prologue K, the first malt whisky from SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY in Japan, is now available.
Prologue K is made with over 50% Japanese domestic barley malt, then distilled in ex-Karuizawa distilling equipment called ‘K’ and matured in bourbon barrels for over 3 years.
Prologue W, the second whisky from SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY, is distilled in a wood-fired wash still from Scotland called ‘W’. The full-size bottle is only available in Japan and 5,000 were produced.
