4 Kilos - Motor America Tinto 2019
Motor America is a sublime blend of mostly Callet (an indiginous variety from Mallorca) with small amounts of Monastrell and Manto Negro, aged briefly in clay amphorae. Exquisitely textured, wild berry fruits and raisin notes are found upfront, with subtle licorice in the background, all enhanced by a bright acidity. Close your eyes and it's very reminiscent of a well-made ripasso from the Veneto.
An ideal red for elegant pasta dishes, sausages or hearty rice meals.
