Dow's Description
Amber golden in color, soft and rich on the palate with a fine and mellow fruit flavor blending in with the almond overtones of prolonged cask aging. A very fine Port to be savored in a reasonable sized glass so that the aromas and colour can be appreciated. Serve slightly chilled in warm weather.
Wine Spectator: 90 Points
A plump and rich style, with buckwheat, cinnamon, fruitcake and mulled plum notes nicely melded together. Offers a round, open finish. Shows a bit more oomph than range, but very tasty. Drink now.
