El Molino Description
Founded in 1871, El Molino is one of the first wineries in the Napa Valley and remains family owned and operated. Cellar conditions are ideal for the limited production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay using traditional winemaking techniques. The label is the original design introduced in 1871, displaying the Bale Grist Mill, or “El Molino”.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red, aromatics of red cherry, rose petal, dark chocolate, strawberry and red earth are supported with notes of bacon fat, all spice and mushrooms. A suppler entry with red cherry, raspberry and all spice flavors frame full but smooth tannins. The mid palate testure and richness is supported by integrated acids that lead to a fan tailed finish that is long and powerful.

Concentrated forest floor and wet earth notes bracket the taut dried red fruit flavors, which offer rich, dusty accents. Pure and minerally on the linear finish.
