A Coroa Godello is a white wine of the D.O. Valdeorra by Bodega A Coroa, one of the oldest in Spain. This wine combines a delicate structure with a varietal expression of accentuated personality and originality.
A Coroa Godello is a single varietal of Godello. A Coroa is a family-owned business but, even so it has an extremely modern winemaking team. The philosophy behind the work carried out at this winery is to make high-quality wines through a rational and modern process.
Tasting Notes: A Coroa Godello presents a bright straw color, with marked green hues on a thin layer that is reminiscent of harmonic combinations of green leafy flowers. With great transparence of aromas and remarkable intensity, it subtly shows spicy notes that melt with aromas of wild white herbs, citrus notes, tropical fruits, ripe stone fruit and light aniseed tone that reminds one of fennel. It has a marked vegetal touch on the nose, typical of the Godello, and is outstandingly clean. Fresh in the mouth, with less marked acidity and increasing softness and unctuous smoothness. It is a long wine, marked by its slight bitterness, typical of the great Godellos. Subtle retro nasal aroma with remarkable touch of white flowers. A Coroa Godello stands out for its great intensity of aromas, savory, with a lingering aftertaste and great balance in the mouth.
