Gonet-Medeville Description
This blend of 70% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier, originates from the following crus: Bisseuil, Trépail, Mareuil sur Aÿ and Le Mesnil sur Oger. The hand harvested grapes are destemmed and then lightly pressed. 70% is vinified in temperature controlled tanks, 30% in neutral barriques. The wine is then bottled 7 months after harvest and kept on the lees for 24 months. Wines are put to market after a minimum of 4 months after being disgorged.
A firm version, with an airy mousse and a light toast to flavors of black currant, oyster shell, lemon zest and sliced almond, backed by vibrant acidity. Lingers on the creamy finish.
