Pierre Gimonnet & Fils Description
An unusually detailed and filigree and deft and complex wine, more than everything that a N.V. Blanc de Blancs can be. There's a wonderful lacy m?lange of balsam, chalk, green tea, wintergreen, peony, with fine diction.
James Suckling: 95 Points
An entrancingly fresh nose that has beautiful clarity, heady floral notes, some fresh-cut herbs and fine chalky minerals. Really superb finesse here. The palate's contained by assertive acidity and drives crunchy, crisp and long with flavors of fresh lemon and pithy grapefruit to close. Drink now or up to five years - this has some time to build yet.
Vinous Media: 92 Points
Green-tinged yellow. Intense, mineral-accented aromas of orange zest, pear and white flowers, with an iodiney quality building in the glass. Chewy in texture and nicely concentrated, offering precise citrus and bitter quinine flavors and a strong topnote of dusty minerals. Finishes clean, bright and very long, with lingering chalkiness. This would make a superb match with fresh oysters or crab.

Wine Spectator: 90 Points
Racy acidity drives this minerally Champagne, creating a firm frame for the subtle mesh of crunchy white peach, biscuit, lemon pith and spring blossom notes. Offers a clean-cut, lacy finish. — AN
Wine Advocate: 89 Points
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay Premier Cru Cuis is all citrus, flowers and stone fruits. This pure, beautifully sculpted Champagne flows with layers of flavor on a sinewy, mid-weight frame. The finish is long and well-articulated if perhaps just a bit austere. The Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay Premier Cru Cuis is 100% Chardonnay.
Wine Enthusiast: 89 Points
Based on the premier cru Chardonnay vineyards of Cuis, this soft and fresh wine is beautifully balanced. It has apple freshness, a tangy texture from minerality, and a bright and fruity aftertaste. Roger Voss
