Wine Spectator: 92 Points
Rich and decadent on the nose, with meaty, earthy crushed blackberry and blueberry aromas. Full-bodied and lightly sweet, with loads of chewy, ripe tannins and a long, very rich finish. There's lovely richness and balance to this. From the former owner of Quinta do Noval. Best after 2016. 500 cases made.

Obviously a Port for the long haul, not giving away much. There are flavors of licorice, bitter fruits, all-spice, nutmeg. The character at this stage is tight, edgy, but the promise is there and will be worth waiting for.
