Sequoia Grove Description
This classically rich Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is red burgundy in color with aromas of black cherry and creamy vanilla, followed by blueberry, blackberry, cherry cola, and grilled meat. On the palate, this Cabernet Sauvignon is seamless and elegant with silky tannins, intense flavors of cherry and floral notes, and a hint of burnt sugar and roasted nuts. Drink now or age 10 or more years.

Sourced predominantly from two estate vineyards in Rutherford, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot, 1% Grenache and 1% Syrah. Matured in approximately 50% new French oak, the wine offers a mix of cherries, subtle cedar notes and vanilla shadings on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, velvety, plush and supple. It's easy to drink but has enough tannin to support short-term cellaring, and the finish adds appealing, savory hints of Mexican chocolate.
