Vols II - Riesling Spatlese 2022
This is a bright and super approachable Spatlese. Green apple peel, Meyer lemon, and a flinty minerality stand out in the aromatics and on the palate. The palate is softly textured and not overtly sweet, finishing with a clean acidity. This is a very pretty wine.

Crab apple tartness, lime-like brightness, piquancy of apple pip and mouthwatering salinity all successfully balance residual sugar in this wine, whose sense of tension is invigorating and by no means inharmonious.
