Fazi Battaglia Description
Produced in the Classico area of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. Made exclusively from Verdicchio grapes grown on the beautiful hillside vineyards owned by the winery. Grapes are hand harvested. The grapes are gently pressed, followed by cold maceration of the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 14-16°C, followed by 4 months of aging on the lees to add crispness.
Straw yellow. Aromas of apple, pear, and aniseed. A rich palate with notes of almonds and a touch of minerality.
