Hidden Barn’s award-winning Series One Small Batch releases are distilled by Royce Neeley at the Neeley Family Distillery and blended by Master Blender Jackie Zykan to highlight and accentuate the most compelling barrels of the distillery’s grain-forward and confectionary bourbon. This latest batch—aptly named Cherry Picker—carries rich notes of dark cherry and tobacco.
Produced from a mash bill of 70% corn, 20% rye, and 10% malted barley. Open top, sweet mash fermented in cypress vats for 5 days using wild Appalachian yeast. Aged a minimum of 5 years in air-seasoned casks; non-age statement.
Rich, dark cherry preserves and toasted sugar on the nose precede a viscous palate dominated by sweet tobacco and approachable black peppercorn with soft mint, underripe fruit, and allspice on a clean finish.
Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 54.6% ABV
