The red 2019 Tinto was produced with a blend of 55% Tinta Roriz, 25% Touriga Francesa, 10% Touriga Nacional and 10% the field blend from the old vines in the property. It’s quite perfumed, elegant and characterful, with a medium-bodied palate and some dusty tannins that would welcome some food, but it shows the rustic character of the Douro. It has a moderate 14% alcohol, with balancing freshness and acidity. It’s really very pleasant.
