Dominique Lafon Description
In 2008, Dominique Lafon, winemaker/owner of the renowned Comtes Lafon estate in Meusault, started his own eponymous label - and currently works approximately 4.5 hectares in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, and Beaune. Legally, the Dominique Lafon brand has négociant status but it is operated like a small domaine and Dominique rarely buys grapes. Total production annually is only 400 cases. Exceptional quality and value here, especially the Meursault-like Bourgogne Blanc!
The vineyards are farmed with the same principles of organics and biodynamics as Comte Lafon and are vinified with the same care and attention to quality that spurred Dominique’s reputation in the region and around the world.

Spicy, offering cinnamon, nutmeg, cherry and strawberry flavors on a juicy texture. On the elegant side, yet focused, with a mouthwatering finish. Best from 2016 through 2025. 291 cases made.
