Katsunuma - Aruga Branca Pipa 2019
A rich, distinguished white made from the local Koshu grape, barrel aged for six months then bottle aged an addition two years before release. This is wine made for the nuances of Japanese cuisine, but reserved for it’s many delicacies like the dashi and mirin flavors of sukiyaki, chu-toro tuna, Wagyu beef, sea urchin, or even the delicate flavors of salmon roe.
This is the pinnacle of Japan winemaking and a richly rewarding wine.
