L.A. Cetto is Mexico's oldest winery and the largest in Baja California. This Nebbiolo is their trademark red, being that the winery owners are from Italy. This is a full-bodied wine made from grapes over 40 years of age, from rootstocks that originated in the Valtellina. It is aged for 14 months in French barrels, producing a moderately intense red that has excellent spice character as well as that hint of salinity so typical from Baja.
