Benanti Contrada Cavaliere Rosso is a pale ruby color. On the nose, aromas of red fruit merge with warming herbs and spices. The palate is dry, medium- to full-bodied and structured with ripe tannins and a persistent, harmonious finish.

Fresh flowers with oranges and black cherries as well as blackberries. Very clear aromas. Subtle and complex. Full-bodied but not heavy with solid and structured tannins. Chewy and muscular but remains rather agile. Give it three or four years to come together but impressive already.
